Jan. 10: A different kind of incubator & The state of Refresh Austin

A different kind of incubator

Presented by Ben Hoffman and Cedric Dahl, co-founders of The Nerditorium

The Nerditorium is an experiment in micro-budget, tribal entrepreneurship focusing on incubating technology and design projects. Working from the premise that the traditional model of work is broken, The Nerditorium asks: What’s possible when you surround yourself with people you admire and respect, collaborate on projects you believe in, and cut out life’s day-to-day chores? Ben and Cedric will share their experiences, lessons learned and current projects.

The state of Refresh Austin

Led by William Yarbrough

It’s a new year and time for a fresh start. We’ve continued to grow and evolve, just as the larger Austin web and tech scene has. Chat with the Refresh core team of organizers about what’s in store, and share your ideas for how we can continue to improve in 2012. We’re a community that thrives on collaboration, and we want to hear from you.

Jan. 10, from 7-9 p.m. at Buffalo Billiards (6th and Brazos)

RSVP on Facebook. (It’s not required; you’re always welcome.)

Special thanks this month to Optaros for sponsoring this month’s drink tab!
